Feast or Famine
An article written by Mark Hawthorne - August 9, 2008
Hanging in the Newseum in Washington, DC, is a photo that is about as heart-rending an image as you’re likely to find anywhere. Taken by Kevin Carter for The New York Times in 1993, the photo depicts a starving Sudanese toddler crumpled on the ground, as if her stick-like legs could no longer bear the weight of her large head and swollen stomach, bloated from the malnourishment disease called kwashiorkor. While that alone is disturbing, what makes the tableau truly haunting is the vulture patiently waiting just a few feet behind the emaciated child. This photograph earned Carter a Pulitzer Prize and epitomized the toll famine is taking on developing countries around the world.
Tragically, of course, hunger has only become an even graver issue in the last 15 years -- a point made clear in a report released July 29 from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Recommending urgent action for long-term relief, the CSIS report calls for “a strategic U.S. approach to the global food crisis.”
“Food crisis,” however, implies some recent, short-term cause and effect, when in fact the “perfect storm” of rising energy costs, grain hoarding, government subsidies, drought and the demand for biofuels diverts attention from an entrenched industry and a remedy neither the CSIS nor many social activists want to contemplate: eliminating meat production.
“Whoa!” you say. “Don’t take away my steaks and cheeseburgers.” Meat-eating is such an ingrained aspect of Western culture that proposing its demise, even to save the world, deserves some discussion. Fair enough.
The United Nations estimates that 854 million people -- nearly 13 percent of the world’s human population -- go hungry every day. And the problem is only getting worse. Josette Sheeran, executive director of the UN’s World Food Program, says, “The world’s misery index is rising.”
So is our hunger for meat. As Gene Baur observes in Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food, in 1950, 50,000 farms produced 630 million “meat” chickens in the United States. By 2005, the U.S. had 20,000 fewer farms -- but they were producing 8.7 billion chickens for meat. That’s a lot of chicken feed. In fact, every year industrial animal factories in the U.S. feed 157 million metric tons of legumes, cereal and vegetable protein to livestock, resulting in 28 million metric tons of animal protein for human consumption. Nutritious plant-based food that could feed humans instead goes to feed animals in a very inefficient use of resources.
Jeremy Rifkin, president of the Foundation on Economic Trends in Washington, DC, states it succinctly: “People go hungry because much of arable land is used to grow feed grain for animals rather than people.” He offers as one example the Ethiopian famine of 1984, which was fueled by the meat industry. “While people starved, Ethiopia was growing linseed cake, cottonseed cake and rapeseed meal for European livestock,” he says. “Millions of acres of land in the developing world are used for this purpose. Tragically, 80 percent of the world’s hungry children live in countries with food surpluses which are fed to animals for consumption by the affluent.”
The demand for meat has been especially dramatic in developing countries. “China’s meat consumption is increasing rapidly with income growth and urbanization, and it has more than doubled in the past generation,” says Rosamond Naylor, an associate professor of economics at Stanford University. As a result, land once used to provide grains for humans now provides feed for chickens and pigs.
The USDA and the United Nations state that using an acre of land to raise cattle yields 20 pounds of usable protein. If soybeans were grown instead, that same acre would yield 356 pounds of protein. Animal agriculture also wastes valuable water resources. Population biologists Paul and Anne Ehrlich note that a pound of wheat can be grown with 60 gallons of water, whereas a pound of meat requires 2,500 to 6,000 gallons.
Here’s another way to look at it. According to the aid group Vegfam, a ten-acre farm can support 60 people growing soybeans, 24 people growing wheat, ten people growing corn and only two people producing cattle. Reducing meat production by just ten percent in the U.S. would free enough grain to feed 60 million people, estimates Harvard nutritionist Jean Mayer. Sixty million people -- that’s the population of Great Britain, which, by the way, could support 250 million people on an all-vegetable diet.
Not surprisingly, the meat industry has a beef with these statistics. They say, for example, that the grains and soybeans fed to farmed animals are not of the high quality that humans would expect to eat (tell that to a starving child). Yet it’s difficult to dispute the fact that animal agribusiness uses land and water that could be used to grow plant foods for human consumption.
As Rifkin observes, it is ironic that millions of consumers in developed countries are dying from diseases of affluence such as heart attacks, diabetes and cancer, brought on by eating animal products, while the poor in the Third World are dying of diseases of poverty caused by being denied access to land to grow food grain for their families.
“We are long overdue for a global discussion on how to promote a diversified, high-protein, vegetarian diet for the human race,” says Rifkin, whose book Beyond Beef: The Rise and Fall of the Cattle Culture addresses the moral paradoxes of eating meat.
Are those steaks and cheeseburgers really worth all the lives they take -- human and non-human? It would be naïve to think the world will go vegetarian overnight, or even in a few decades. But looking at Carter’s powerful photograph, I can’t help but believe we have been woefully mistaken in how we treat those with whom we share this planet. If we hope to bequeath a sustainable world to future generations, we’ll have to shake loose this meat-produced disaster and embrace a kinder way of living.

Big up Nigeria pon dem Independence Day!!!
From the Nigerian girl in this picture, Ngosi Achebe:
"Destiny has its way,and so in January 1972 Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia visited Nigeria. He had mediated in the Nigerian/Biafran civil war that had ended just two years earlier. I was told he wanted to see for himself that the ‘NO Victor, No Vanquished’ policy embarked upon after the civil war by the Nigeria government was really and truly being implemented in the former Biafran enclave. Anyway, dressed in orange poplin suit and skinny as a pole I set off to welcome him with a bunch of marigolds, daffodils and daisies. I remember my speech - “I welcome to Nigeria, His Royal Highness, the great Emperor of all Ethiopia, Elect of God, and the Lion of Judah, Emperor Haile Selassie.” I remember a small man, a warm kiss and a 24 carat gold coin being pressed into my hand. He officially opened the Enugu Orthopedic Hospital at the site of the former Eastern Nigerian Governor’s Lodge. The hospital was established for maimed war victims and was named The Haile Selassie I Institute for Orthopedic, Plastic and Ophthalmic Surgery until some years later, when a governor renamed it."

Nigeria to revamp groundnuts farming
Nigeria is to rebound as a leading producer of groundnuts in Africa, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwumi Ayodeji Adesina said at an international gathering of agricultural researchers and policy makers in Patancheru, India.
The minister said in a keynote address at the 40th anniversary of International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) that signing a three-year collaboration agreement on the rehabilitation and expansion of groundnut production with the Institute was one of the first major steps in restoring Nigeria’s status as a dominant producer and exporter of groundnuts in the world.
He noted that groundnut has remained as an important crop for resource-poor farmers in Nigeria, and expressed optimism that the partnership program between ICRISAT and Nigeria’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development would bring back Nigeria’s lost glory as a leading groundnut producer.
The minister’s remarks were based on Nigeria’s prowess in groundnuts production in the world from colonial days to the mid-1970s when drought and a national shift to the production of other crops combined to pale Nigeria’s status as a major groundnuts producer.
Dr. Adesina praised the Institute for the role it has played in agricultural transformation through research in the semi-arid parts of the world, adding that it “represents the best hope of farmers in the semi-arid tropics, crucial for the economic prosperity, food and nutritional security of the dry land poor.”
The minister acknowledged the relentless passion in helping Africa and the developing world that were demonstrated by ICRISAT in its 40 years of research-for-development work that has left footprints of success globally.
He said that ICRISAT’s research work made semiarid Ethiopia a major world exporter of chickpeas, revolutionalised food production through large-seeded pigeon pea varieties in Tanzania, improved yields through disease-resistant groundnut in Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia and Mozambique, and has helped farmers across Africa’s semi-arid tropics with the technique of fertilizer micro-dosing.
Dr. Adesina, who is a former researcher at the Institute, led a two-member delegation from Nigeria to the anniversary, delivered the Keynote address and briefed some of his counter-parts from more than 50 countries on the strides Nigeria is making in enhancing agricultural productivity, turning subsistence agriculture into business to create jobs and wealth through the development of various Value Chains.

Each one carved from a single gray smooth granite. There are 120 in all. The tallest one 108 meters in length has fallen and lays broken into huge pieces on the ground perhaps due to an earth quake. If still standing, it would have been the world's tallest monolith. The next tallest is a 28 meter one taken by the Italians during their brief occupation of Ethiopia in World War II. Chalcedon (451).
This Council met to discuss the heresy of the Monophysites who held that in Christ the human nature had been merged into the divine, so that there was, after the divine union, only one nature. The Bishops of this Council accepted the so-called Tome of Pope St. Leo the Great of Rome, which affirmed the belief that the one and the same son, perfect in Godhead and perfect in manhood, [is] truly God and truly man...acknowledged in two natures unconfused, unchanged, undivided and inseparable. In addition, the place of Constantinople after that of Rome was confirmed, as was that of Jerusalem in the fifth place of honor.
A tragic result of this Council (and that of Ephesus prior) was the splitting apart from the main body of a large group of Christians adhering to either the Nestorian or Monophysite view. The Nestorians were found basically in Persia and Mesopotamia, and were especially decimated by the Islamic and Turkish onslaughts, whereas the Monophysites were strong in Africa (Egypt and Ethiopia the present Coptic Church), Armenia, and India (the Jacobite Church

ESAT News Release October 1, 2012 ESAT has finalizing testing and is back on air in Ethiopia through New Horn TV. ESAT Management would like to announce

Injunctions of Islam regarding graves
1.No Pucca Structure:
“Jabir (rA) said: ALLAH’s Messenger (sallalahu alayhi sallam) forbade (made haraam) that the graves should be plastered or they be used as sitting places (for the people), or a building should be built over them.”
[Sahih Muslim 2:2116-8]
The Messenger of ALLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) the giver of the best guidance made haraam making graves Pucca or building structures over them.
2.Maximum height:
“Abu’l-Hayyaj al-Asadi told that ‘Ali (b. Abu Talib) (rA) said to him: Should I not send you on the same mission as ALLAH’s Messenger (sallalahu alayhi sallam) sent me? Do not leave an image without obliterating it, or a high grave without levelling It. This hadith has been reported by Habib with the same chain of transmitters and he said: (Do not leave) a picture without obliterating it.” [Sahih Muslim 2:2115]
RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) sent Ali (rA) to level the graves. The maximum allowed height is one span as compared to the surrounding area as mentioned in other hadiths.
Today many Muslims go to excuses in making brilliant graves. All such graves, Durgahs, Rozas are clearly against these hadiths of the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi sallam).
3.Duaa for visiting the Graveyard:
RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) mentioned the following Duaa for visiting the graveyard. “As – Salaamu alaa Ahlid – Diyaar minal Mumineena wal Muslimeen Yarhamullah al Mustaqdimeena min-naa wal Mustakhireen wa in-naa InshaAllahu bikum Laahiqoon “
“Peace be upon the inhabitants of this city (graveyard) from among the Believers and the Muslims, and may Allah have mercy on those who have gone ahead of us, and those who come later on, and we shall, God willing, join you.” [Sahih Muslim 2:2127]
This is what is authentically proven from the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi sallam).
4.Salaah (Prayer) Prohibited:
RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) said “All of the earth is a masjid (place for sijdah)except graveyards and toilets”
[Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood 1:492]
RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) further said “Offer some of your prayers in your houses and do not make them graves.”
[Sahih Bukhari vol 2: no 280, Book of Tahajud chapter 36]
5.No other acts of Ibadah:
“Narrated `Aisha (rA): When the Prophet became ill, some of his wives talked about a church which they had seen in Ethiopia and it was called Mariya. Um Salma and Um Habiba had been to Ethiopia, and both of them narrated its (the Church’s) beauty and the pictures it contained. The Prophet (sallalahu alayhi sallam) raised his head and said, “Those are the people who, whenever a pious man dies amongst them, make a place of worship at his grave and then they make those pictures in it. Those are the worst creatures in the Sight of ALLAH.”
[Sahih Bukhari vol 2: no 425, Book of Funerals chapter 69]
“Narrated `Aisha (rA) and `Abdullah bin `Abbas (rA): When the last moment of the life of ALLAH’s Apostle (sallalahu alayhi sallam) came he started putting his ‘Khamisa’ on his face and when he felt hot and short of breath he took it off his face and said, “May ALLAH curse the Jews and Christians for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets.” The Prophet (sallalahu alayhi sallam) was warning (Muslims) of what those had done.”
[Sahih Bukhari vol 1: no 427, Book of Salah chapter 55]
RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) said “Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques; I forbid you to do that.”
[Sahih Muslim 1:1083]
RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) clearly made it haraam to his ummah to take graves as places of worship or put graves in the places of worship. Hence both building a mosque over a grave or putting a grave in a mosque both were made haraam by the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi sallam).
6.No Reading of the Quran in the graveyards:
a )When RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) was asked about what to do while visiting the graveyard he only told to read the Duaa mentioned above. He did not tell the Sahabas to read the Quran or certain Surahs of the Quran like Surah Fatiha, Surah Falaq, Surah Nas, Surah Yasin. If we start saying today “No! It is necessary to read the Fatiha there” Then the question that arises is – “Why is it that our beloved messenger Muhammed (sallalahu alayhi sallam) never told us to do that?” Either he did not know about it (Nauzobillah!) or he knew about it but did not tell us about it! In that case it is as if we are alleging that he did not fulfill his duty of passing the message of ALLAH fully and completely (Nauzobillah)!
b) RasoolULLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) said “Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqara is recited.”
[Sahih Muslim 1:1707]
He said read Surah Baqara in your homes. When you do that your homes will be UNLIKE graveyards where you should not read Surah Baqara. This hadith also speaks about the reading of the Quran in the graveyards.
7. Can we visit the ‘Mazar’, let us know the hadith of our prophet regarding raised graves:
It is mentioned in Sahih Muslim vol. 2 pp 459-60, No. 2116-2118 “Jabir (rA) said : ALLAH’s Messenger (pbuh) forbade that the graves should be plastered or, they be used as sitting places (for the people), or a building should be built over them” [also Sahih Muslim vol. 2 Hadith No. 2114 (also see 2115)]
I heard the messenger of ALLAH (sallalahu alayhi sallam) commanding (us) to level the grave. So if we cannot construct anything on the grave then how can Mazar exist, and when there is no existence of Mazar, where is the question of visiting it.
May ALLAH forgive my abd readers’ mistakes…..Aamin.

Narrated Anas: The people mentioned the fire and the bell (they suggested those as signals to indicate the starting of prayers), and by that they mentioned the Jews and the Christians. Then Bilal was ordered to pronounce Adhan for the prayer by saying its wordings twice and for the Iqama (the call for the actual standing for the prayers in rows) by saying its wordings once. (Iqama is pronounced when the people are ready for the prayer).

Hazrat Bilal (Radhiallahu Anhu / May God be pleased with him) or Bilal Ibn Rabah and he sometimes also known as "Bilal al-Habashi" or "Bilal the Ethiopian",
The first Muezzin of Islam, originally was a black slave from Ethiopia.
Hazrat Bilal (ra) was one of the most trusted and loyal companion (Sahabi E Rasool) of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) after converted to Islam.
Hazrat Bilal (Radhiallahu Anhu) is very lovingly remembered by Muslims around the world as one of the earliest great African Muslim.
He was born in a village in a mountainous place in Western Arabia.
Bilal's father was called Rebah and his mother was known as Hamamah.
They had come to Arabia as slaves from Ethiopia.
The father and mother were slaves of Umayyah ibn Khalaf ibn Safwan, a rich man from the tribe of Quraish.
Bilal was therefore born in slavery and served as a housekeeper.
Among the slaves from Africa, Hazrat Bilal (ra) was the first to accept Islam.
He had a strong faith in Allah (SWT) and a great love for our Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). He had a pure character.
Soon after converting to Islam he earned high respect of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) liked Hazrat Bilal's sweet voice and made him the first Muazzin of Islam
- The Caller to the Prayers.
Note: Muezzin or Muazzin is a chosen person at the mosque who leads the call (Adhan) to Friday service and the five daily prayers (Salat). —

Understanding the struggle between jesus name and The Name Of YAHWAH
By: Patricia Williams
Dear Brother,
First off I want to say that I enjoy listening to you talk about the Word of God. You have a great understanding of the scriptures and I believe that we as an assembly can learn a lot from Yahwah through you. The word of Yahwah says in Pro 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. I believe these discussions that we have with you can do that for both of us. These discussions can cause us to re-examine what we believe about Yahwah’s Word. It should cause us to study Yahwah’s Word more.
Last Thursday night before you left you had asked us to get with Bro. Kirk and Pastor Prodoehl and to discuss the possibly of the Messiah being name Yeshua. Your point is how can a young boy live in that time with the name of Yahwah Ben Yoseph, people would want to kill him or they would not accept Him having that name. When we first came to the name of Yahwah I struggled with the thought of Mary and Joseph bringing their baby to the priest to be circumcised and saying that His name is Yahwah. I had thought in my mind that the priest would refuse to circumcise Him because of the name that Mary and Joseph wanted to give Him. I guess what I’m saying is that I had the same thoughts that you have.
There are some things we may never know until we get to see Yahwah Ha Mashiyach face to face. We have to base our beliefs solely on what the scriptures say not on what we think or doubt. Anyone can easily question in their minds how can that Messiah be named Yahwah and go contrary to what the Tanach and New Covenant teaches about the name of the Messiah. The scriptures clearly teach that the Messiah had a name that was above every name. The Messiah did not have a COMMON name. The names of Yehsua, Yahoshua and Joshua were and are COMMAN names. Here are some New Covenant scriptures that show that the Messiah did not have a common name:
Eph 1:20-21 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Luk 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
It is common today to accept that the Messiah was named anything but Yahwah. Someone can say that the Messiah was named Jesus and its acceptable or Yehsua or Yahoshua and its acceptable, but if you say that Messiah had that same name as His Father it is hard for people to understand or to see it, even though the Old Covenant clearly says that Yahwah is the Savior and Redeemer. There are many scriptures that show that Yahwah is Savior and Redeemer and all of the Old Covenant tells us of only one God throughout. There is no scripture that says that the Messiah would be named Yeshua or Yahoshua. I’m going to close this out with some scripture from the Old Covenant that shows that our Saviour, Redeemer and Messiah is Yahwah. Please prayfully consider the scriptures.
May Yahwah bless you and your family,
Bro. & Sis. Williams
Yahwah the Saviour:
(Isa 43:3) For I am Yahwah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
(Isa 43:11) I, even I, am Yahwah; and beside me there is no saviour.
(Isa 45:15) Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
(Isa 45:21) Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I Yahwah? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
(Isa 49:26) And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I Yahwah am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
(Isa 60:16) Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I Yahwah am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
(Hos 13:4) Yet I am Yahwah thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
Yahwah the Redeemer:
(Isa 41:14) Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith Yahwah, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
(Isa 43:14) Thus saith Yahwah, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
(Isa 44:6) Thus saith Yahwah the King of Israel, and his redeemer Yahwah of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
(Isa 44:24) Thus saith Yahwah, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am Yahwah that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
(Isa 47:4) As for our redeemer, Yahwah of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
(Isa 48:17) Thus saith Yahwah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am Yahwah thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
(Isa 49:7) Thus saith Yahwah, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of Yahwah that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
(Isa 49:26) And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I Yahwah am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
(Isa 54:5) For thy Maker is thine husband; Yahwah of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
(Isa 54:8) In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Yahwah thy Redeemer.
(Isa 59:20) And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Yahwah.
(Isa 63:16) Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Yahwah, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
(Jer 50:34) Their Redeemer is strong; Yahwah of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
Immanuel means God (Yahwah) with us:
Isa 7:14 Therefore Yahwah himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Messiah is called the Mighty God (Yahwah) and the Everlasting Father (Yahwah):
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Prophesy about the coming Messiah, it says that the Messiah would be called Yahwah our Righteousness:
Jer 23:5-6 Behold, the days come, saith Yahwah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, YAHWAH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Plan of salvation that Peter referred to in the books of Acts. Notice it does not say Yeshua but Yahwah:
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Yahwah shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as Yahwah hath said, and in the remnant whom Yahwah shall call.
It says here in the Old Covenant that Yahwah’s feet are going to stand on the Mount of Olives and that Yahwah is coming back with His saints.
Zec 14:4-5 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and Yahwah my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
One Shepard: If we use more than one name we are going against scripture.
Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. Yahwah is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Joh 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
Yahwah the King: How many Kings do we have? The scriptures tell us of only one King.
Psa 24:8-10 Who is this King of glory? Yahwah strong and mighty, Yahwah mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? Yahwah of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Matt. 2:12 Now when Yahwah was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
To lift up any other god or name other than the name of Yahwah is breaking two of the ten commandments:
Exodus 20:2-3 I am Yahwah thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of Yahwah thy God in vain; for Yahwah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
